Have a look at the Lapsang Souchong thread about tea drinking for another food thread. Then there was the Tim Tam (Australian chocolate biscuit) thread. We also had the corn dodger(?) thread, the Mudcat recipe book thread ..... the list goes on and on.

Kit Kats in Australia used to be made by Rowntree and are probably made by Nestle now, so they probably taste much the same as the UK version. Cadbury's chocolates have recently launched a competitor product called Breakaway here - very nice, but still too sweet for my taste.
