Thanks all. It was a fabulous evening in a stunningly gorgeous setting - The Museum of Civilization in Hull. The awards ceremony included live music between the announcing and receiving of awards. It was fun to finally meet my webmaster who lives in Quebec, as well as a lot of folk friends and heros from across this very large country. So much talent and soul in one place - it was very inspiring!

My favourite of the night was the award given to Anne Lindsay + Oliver Schroer for Producer of the Year. Ollie is battling leukemia here in Toronto. He is one of the most intelligent, gifted and entertaining fiddle players this world has ever produced. We all wished he could have been there in person to accept it.
