If they are a problem, a dermatologist can help, but this is doubtfully the cause.

Dust mites are everywhere and necessary to get rid of shed skin cells- If one is alergic to them, one has a real problem, but it can be controlled.

There are many causes of allergy; it may take a while for the allergist to sort it out. Think back and see if you have changed anything since the problem developed- you may help the allergist narrow down the causes. New pet? Change in soaps, cleaning agents, etc., etc.
