We've just discovered that Helen's (my partner of the last thirteen years) grandaughter has cancer. She's eighteen and beautiful. She's been living in Malta for the last six months, been poorly and was taken in to hospital last Friday. Helen flew out on Sunday, there was surgery to take biopsy yesterday, and the specialist has said that we need to get her back to the UK as quickly as possible for treatment ASAP - they're coming home on Friday.

From the early descriptions we thought it was going to be Hodgkins but it seems as if its far worse with lumps in her abdomen and bowel.

Need prayers, big time....
