Hallo everyone!

Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm re: the Butch Baldassari Benefit Concert. It was a smashing success, and an almost full house despite the snow! Yay!

In other news, this Saturday (December 8th) is the Dusty Strings Holiday Open House, featuring free live music all day long (from 11am-9pm). Hot cider, coffee, cocoa, and more freshly baked cookies than should be legal will be served.

Note: The Mudcat's own John P will perform with his new Scandinavian group, Mäd Fiddlu, at 2:00 pm. I suppose honesty must compel me to admit that yours truly will also be taking the stage briefly at the end of the 4:00 pm set by Le Quintette de Musette, having been graciously invited to sing a song with these wonderful musicians. Believe me, the pleasure is all mine!
