You're right, Mr Spencer, all the members of Folly Bridge appear on Sharron Krauss' splendid Right Wantonly A Mumming album, even singing together on To Shorten Winter's Sadness.

Folly Bridge was the first act I ever saw in a folk club. It would would be some time in the (very) early 1990s and I got a leaflet pushed through my door about Oxford Folk Club, at the Port Mahon pub. As I was getting bored with rock music and had started to dabble in folkier stuff (Lindisfarne, The Byrds etc.) I thought I'd go along. Ron Taylor & Jeff Gillett were headlining & F. B. were the first floor spot. It was all a bit of a culture shock (joining in? what's that all about?) but they must have done something right because I'm still listening a decade & a half later.

Halcyon days.....
