There was a big aboveground swimming pool down at the town park where I come from and there was an open concrete slab adjacent to it, for dancing etc., with a jukebox in a sort of custom built jukeboxshack. The park people'd open the doors up on the weekends and people would play "In the Ghetto" by Elvis over and over. It was sorta odd, as there were no black people in the whole county, but the girls would play that and cry for some reason or other.
