At the pub in Glenelg a couple of years ago, we were entertained by Annie Lupton and her Stonking Jive Band. Very good, too - I still remember her singing.

I also remember the local who'd had (more than) enough to drink at 9pm and collapsed to the floor. His mates carefully picked him up, carried him out to his car and laid him to sleep on the back seat. I can't believe he was sober enough to drive when he woke in the morning.
