That kind of joke is funny if people know each other, but not so much if you don't, just like the 'asshole' joke. I'd had a bad day, was (retrospectively) going migrainey and normally would have just thought what I typed out loud.
It's hard to resist the offer of a free drink, but I'll have to see what the weather does and how much 'road' energy I've got. It's a fairly long drive and Garnet gets down here sometimes.
