Well, Garnet is Canadian and is used to big snows and if he says he can make it to the gig, so can I. He only has a Volvo. His Dec 15 gig is in Pomfret, CT so to get to Portland, ME is 168 miles - an afternoon drive in a snowstorm to Garnet.
I have a big-ass Chevvy 4x4 (gas-guzzler -sorry, but this is Maine in winter - I like to get there with a lot of Detroit steel around me!). I'm game. I only have a 30 mile drive. What about the rest of you Mainers? Some of you are only over the bridge.
Some advice please. With snow on the ground, what streets are off-limits for parking around the venue? Charley? Are the ones that have parking meters good to use?
