Well I too broke my wrist as a youngster, in a tree related incident. I was actually climbing said tree after a lost arrow, and fell out onto a road beneath. A passing motorist picked me up dusted me off, and sent me on my way a bit dazed, and it wasn't until I tried to climb the fence to get back into the garden that I realised my 'sore' wrist didn't work.
I must have enjoyed some part of it though, as I've been getting 'out of my tree' on a regular basis ever since.
