Sorcha - my reading suggests you do want to get rid of Neo. Unfortunately I can't see a simple removal tool that I could recommend as trustworthy (there are references but none I'd consider safe automatically); you might have to do the full manual removal to be on the safe side (or if you don't trust yourself to do it, get someone who knows what they're doing to do it for you).
