Emma - I'm going to assume you don't recall the event. The Serbs were carrying signs that said "Monica's War," and made quite a lot of the connection.

                   It's easy for the American press to take one side or the other in a conflict, and publish reports that support their preconceived biases--it's kind of like having a favorite team to root for. They do it all the time. Just scanning through your own posts up above, though, would seem to indicate there was probably more to the story.

                   In any event, as for the bigger picture in North America and Western Europe, I would think it would be obvious. If it's not now, I suspect it will be soon.
