I wanted to call this thread, "Who do you consider the greatest musical talent to have appeared in your home town?", but there wasn't enough space! Anyway, he's my choice for Liverpool,UK: Franz Liszt. He appeared there in 1840. Unfortunatlely, I missed his concert( I think I was playing at a ceilidh in the Irish Centre that particular night! )
