He experiments just a bit more than I'd like, but if those experiments yield ONE song like Night Drive or Sleeping Buffalo (which feature echo-delay), I'm not going to complain too much.
I'd heard Night Drive before, but when I bought the CD, I listened a lot. You drive while you listen or not - you can hear the road under the tires and feel the little rocking bumps when you drive over the pavement joints. The drummer was absolutely brilliant on that, with the car kicking up rocks and going over rough pavement, and at the end, I swear it sounds like the driver got a flat.
