Many famous people in all sorts of music have played in Grimsby/Cleethorpes over the years. Doug Chadwick may know morw about this. I beleive,however,that Houdini performed at the Empire Theatre, Cleethorpes.(Wilson, Keppel and Betty certainly did !)
