a little thread drift but hey! - it's Christmas

The local carol singers paid a visit tonight. Two dozen of them around the front door and spilling over into the narrow lane their lanterns and torches making the frost glisten.

Fortunately no lonely passing vehicle attempted to disturb a spirited rendering of The First Noel!

After many years of family 'duty' we will be spending Christmas day mercifully 'a deux' but on St Stephens day will be bearing wine and food hither to a feast with Japanese, Somali and ex Lancs friends exiled in Yorkshire :)
