Subject: RE: BS: Bat Goddess's Broken Arm
Managed to live 58 years without breaking any bones (except 2 toes on different feet at different times -- THOSE didn't slow me down at all -- once accidently kicked a pile of books while barefoot & once tring to avois steppin on a cat).

Don't think I've had any lobster since Sinsull's lobster boil -- a lot longer ago for the pot on the floor to have had any in it. Been there for quite some time cuz there's no good storage place, So it's not as if I didn't know it was there!

This is my first excursion to the computer since last Wednesday -- Going downstairs (or ANYTHING for that matter, is a major project.

Oh, no cast, btw --before surgry just a sling and the 2 parts of th humerous jostling around. Affter surgery, still a slin for a bit -- but nothing on upper arm but bruises and bunch of metal staples that looks like an odd fashion statement after a trip some piercing booth at the mall. Shoulder swollen & hand & wrist swelling while I'm sitting here.

My last official day at work was Friday (gave my notice 3 weeks ago). Came to the conclusion that I can't find a new job if I'm working an intense high stress one. Think I've got insurance through the end of the month -- haven't seen any COBRA offer, but doubt we can afford it. It was mentioned last week that they might want to keep me on the payroll til my replacement is trained, but they canged heir mind

This sure buggers the job search.

I was planning on filing for unemployment because the job (imagine a rollercoaster ride that takes 3 years) was making me sick -- all my maladies appear to be "just" job stress (& not Lyme disease, etc.). But if I'm unable to work & unable to LOOK for work, I don't know what employment security will do.

One handed typing is an exercise in frustration.

Universe just slammed a door in my face to make sure finally get some rest. Can't feel guilty about not doing stuff because there is no way I can do most stuff. (& the drugs were even keeping me from getting caught up in my reading.)

Oh, a piece of skin doesn't need a cast on it to itck. Seems like the impossible itches have a regular rotation -- but jus got rid of a major one with benadryl gel.

Gotta go back upstairs and rest -- one handed typing is EXHAUSTING!

Thaks for all the good thoughts!
