Up and around is bit of a stretch. Linn and Tom called me last night and we chatted for a while. She hurts. And the drugs do funny things besides making her sleep a lot.
Her arm is not in a cast but a sling.
But she is feeling well enought to laugh out loud.
The "job" has called and predictably she is being missed.
She is having cranky moments - a sure sign of recovery.
Mostly she is resigned to 6-8 weeks of taking it easy.
I told her of a young man I know who took up hang gliding. After a brief intro he bought a glider and matching suit in "his colors", jumped off a cliff and immediately shattered both forearms when a gust of wind snapped him back.
Young men do not like needing help to pee...
Rest Linn. You have no choice.
