When I was about 4, my grandfather taught me this song....this was our version...

In China, there lived a silly old man
His name was Chee Cho Chi Chookaran
His legs were long
His feet were small
that silly old man , he couldn't walk at all...

With a "Chee Cho Chi Cho Chew Chookaran
Inky, pinky pa to my grandpa too
Talk to my China coo".

His servants used to carry him about
and the people, they would shout...
See there he is
See there he goes...
That silly old man with the great big nose

It is a little far off of what all these versions are. I am wondering now, if he made it his own??!! I would love to hear the melody that you are all thinking of.
