It is at the Beck end and without mentioning the sum a lot of cash has been spent on the beck, now the syntan and others can navigate easily, you can travel up the Humber and into the river Hull and on into the lock gates to the beck. There are three pubs at the Beck end for good food and good ale and from the bridge to the Beck end you will find that housing has been developed on both sides.
