Well, I wouldn't count on Harper much. He threw out the Kelowna Accord. Canada must start to honour treaties and try to settle the many land claim issues. Get rid of the 'Indian Act', Maybe take some of the recommendations proposed by the $20,000,000 Royal Commission on Aboriginal Affairs more seriously. (A lot of the country, esp. BC, has been built and developed on unceded native land)... This is why Oka and Gustafsen Lake were important as a struggle between The Rule of Law and The Rule of Force....
