hmmm..well, then...the other likely possibility is that the setting to allow Mudcat cookies has been changed. Wiping drives and worrying about the BIOS is WAY more than a cookie problem usually warrants.

Triple check whether your browser 'might' be set to disallow certain cookie configurations....and...for the sake of being sure, maybe try a different browser.
