I am sure that you will be a great Mother-in-Law - you have a crazy sense of humour and enough common sense to know when not to get involved. If you like the lad that's a good start anyway.

Even if you don't like your child's choice you have to accept that they have to live with that choice and it ain't up to you to try and change that.
