Well, darn. Trying to order alder chips online. The ACE hardware folks gouge on their shipping charges. I compared prices and though I had two screens open the damned thing changed even though I sent through the form with the correct number. Arrggggh. How can I smoke my salmon (soon) without good alder chips? I cancelled (I hope) the order and will place it again later. It costs me 80 cents more for shipping to buy three bags of chips as it does to buy one bag of chips. MOM would be steamed about this if she'd placed the order. Just as well she didn't--she's hard on monitors when she's pissed off.
