Ya know, something just occurred to me.

I'll betcha Anorexia or whoever it is that took "Shane" probably DID "fix" him. It would make a lot of sense for them to do that. Probably just knocked him out with some sort of alien sleepy drug and hit 'em with a hammer -- squashed what little he had flatter'n a deflated basketball.
