I don't spend enough time at the racetrack to remember which is the correct order).

Maybe calculating in terms of weeks rather than months would be more accurate. I'd have to die in the final 7 weeks of the year to be honored by threads of both types, making the odds 7:52 (or, if you prefer, 45:52). Unless 52:7 or 52:45 is the more statistically appropriate form.
