All this Polish family had that was known as Kishka since 1951 here on Long Island, the kishka was ground up liver, spices and buckwheat groats shaped and stuffed into a thick ring. Like one very large sausage that could feed alot of people. You could "baked" it or slice into thick sections and pan fry.
