I was interested in the Japanese correspondent's memory of "Covered Wagon Lullaby" and I wonder if this an old song I heard in the mid- 50s on a 78 and wind-up gramophone at a friend's house, it went like this
Roll along, covered wagon, roll along, Roll along, covered wagon, roll along (line forgotten) Shooting bullets in the air, Roll along, covered wagon, roll along.
