I wouldn't give up too easily GUEST, Highway 50 - cut out the middle man, and try contacting the link I gave in the opening thread, to Peter, who later posted on this thread. When I ordered mine it turned up promptly, and it seems to work pretty well.

As John in Kansas says, you have to finger on the fret rather than below it, unlike guitars etc, but, as a total novice with a fiddle, I find it seems to be easier to get a clean note.
