Pretty sad that it's considered a smear to call someone a Muslim, though, eh?

I have a good friend who is a Sufi Muslim and all of her family are Muslims of one sort of another. She's one of the most kind and loving people I know, and she just can't believe that people would be that way in this country. Last time I talked with her in person, she actually cried because her image of the goodness of people in this country is being challenged by things like this. It's a shame. :-/
