Little hawk, yep, I live in one of those provinces- why split up when as a unit the State of Canada would carry more weight than a bunch of itty-bitty states like Maine or Nebraska? Which is better, power in the House of representatives or in the Senate?
If Canada is too large to function as a state, is it too large to function as a country? (Or is it functioning?)
Although as ten states or so, Alberta, B. C and Ontario could keep their goodies and Sask-PEI-NB etc. would suffer in North Dakota style isolation and poverty.
