Alberta already has a large Mormon contingent in the southern part of the province. Mostly into sugar beets and cattle, but also a bit of everything else; I believe the largest ranch in Alberta is owned by Mormons. A few more LDS from Idaho would fit right in. Some years back one of the men, Tanner, I believe, went to Utah to join in the leadership of the church.

Better beer? Big Rock Calgary brews are excellent, but I still like Dos Equis (XX) from Mexico. Many years ago, Pearl from San Antonio (rice-based) was very good, But I haven't been back to see if it is still sold. Many good beers, so can't really pit any country against another in that regard.

The old story of the mouse and the elephant, we watch the U. S. with trepidation, but prefer to do our own thing and think we do better.
