R. Crumb just likes fat chicks, and especially enjoys being given piggy-back rides by them. The female form as he draws it is supposedly his personal ideal, even though most of the rest of us find that particular type to be unattractive.

He has been married for quite a few years (presumably happily) and in recent years he and his wife have co-produced comics, each of them drawing the image of him/her self. Judging by the drawings, Mrs. Crumb is fairly heavyset, or "big-boned." They're both Americans and are currently living, more or less permanently, in the south of France.

Chacun a son gout. Maybe my French spelling isn't what it used to be, but what I mean is, "Each to his own taste."
