Came across an interesting article about using yellow - Click Here. We have done one coat of the Martha Stewart colour called "Koi" and, so far, we love it. It's a very rich colour. Oddly enough, it is in two items I hadn't really cared about which I got from a friend when she moved: a flat metal rooster and clock with graduated shades of yellow on the face of the clock and a piano lamp with a ceramic shade which has the same colours. It's funny because they are both in the kitchen by default. Another coat will go on this afternoon and then we'll choose a lighter, almost white colour for the rest of the kitchen walls, which will be another weekend project. I'll post pix when we get done.
