I must have got the only bad Seagull in the world! Mine was a dud (I have an expert's opinion, alas too late). I have a nice cheap Yamaha, which is great (classical). But I would never ever buy another guitar without having an expert along with me -- there are some really subtle things I am learning, like whether they are in tune all the way up the frets and things like that which there is no way I would know or hear personally.
