A staff member of mine in Indiana was taking her two sons (8 and 6) to school when the youngest, who was in the backseat, said "Here, Mom" and dropped a loaded revolver in her lap.

She stayed cool, put the gun on the floor under her seat and dropped the boys off. Then she came to work and told me. I went out, unloaded the pistol and she then threw it and the bullets into the river.

Her husband was VERY upset with her and this was the last straw that made him her ex-husband.
