You're right there, Bill. Joe might explain by PM but putting anything in the actual thread isn't a good idea. In the past it has just led to discussions ad nauseum as to the decision to close.

If it is a duplicate thread, as noted, it may be closed with a link to the other thread, until the two get merged.

BS threads close automatically after a certain amount of time, but can be reopened if one asks.
