Frank, I remember singin' a number of Stewart Songs, when I first did a Scottish tour in, maybe '76...later, I believe he toured in Scotland, and even did a live recording. John certainly stradelled the genre lines with musical extremes [from the monkees to Mother Country!]
He always called himself a Folk Musician-and did plenty of Trad Songs.
I believe the last CD of his I got was "Darwin's Army"..& still a favorite. He will indeed be missed...
