Was listening to the radio recently and heard several "Puff the Happy Ending" variants phoned in by listeners. Couldn't write them down while driving, but mostly rememberd one of them. So all you purists, just turn around for a minute and I'll offer this to those who want to add to their collections:

   Years went by, til one day a Puff walked by the strand,
   What should he discover there but footprints in the sand.
   A little girl came running, saying, "Dragon, don't be sad --
   My name is Janie Paper; I was sent here by my Dad!"

Folk process, ya know.
