Strange...I've had 3, and no one ever suggested drugs. I drove myself, had the procedure and walked out and drove home. It was not 'fun', but not really painful...just an odd form of discomfort.
I wonder what the differences are and why drugs are needed sometimes. (Now I know they didn't do the special 'deep' procedure on me...that takes over an hour and does need some sedation)
