I too heard the tune Inisheer played in a wonderful pub on the west coast of Ireland last year (Road ford/Doolin). The young woman playing it did not know its name. I have since heard a tin whistle player play it and he told me it is called Inisheer (Inis Oirr) named after an island off the coast from Doolin co.Clare. I have a copy of the tune he recorded but I read music rather than play by ear so I would like a written copy of the tune. I was told it was a new(ish) tune?
