.....arrived USA totally confused by time & date - offered breakfast on aeroplanes three times in one day!

A BIG thank you from us both to Rita and Bill for all the hospitality they gave us during our time in the Washington area. It was wonderful to catch up with so many friends and meet new people. We thoroughly enjoyed doing the House Concert at Rita & Bill's and we're glad to know that it was enjoyed by so many people.

We had a great time at the Shanty sing at Stacey's - I think Vince's pictures sum up the atmosphere there really well..

We've arrived at Mary's in Virginia - my knuckles are still white fom driving on the Capital Beltway!

We had a great time last night at the Irish Pub watching Mary's gig ....our turn there tonight. We're looking forward to our concert at the Richmond Folk Club...and then it will be home to the day jobs (ugh). It would be good to play hookie though & take a plane to Boston instead but we'll (hopefully) catch up with you, Barry & the Mainiacs at the Getaway in October.

Now I'm off for some retail therapy this morning...
