I confess I knew little about this cult (which the Charity Commission in Britain does not class as a 'religion') until the organization was criticised and some of its sinister features exposed by a TV investigative journalist.

However I have now read the 'Enquiry into the Practice and Effects of Scientology', written by Sir John Foster, for the government of the United Kingdom, regarding the Church of Scientology and was particulary horrified by Chapter 7 which describes the treatment of the critics (sorry that should be 'enemies') of Scientology, especially those who have decided to leave the organization.

Maybe satire IS the best way to deal with such a financially powerful, agressively harrassing and litigious cult.
