The Music Institute Club in Guildford will be presenting Tom Kitching & Gren Bartley on Friday February 8th 2008 at 8 pm.

"Fiddler and BBC Radio 2 young folk award finalist Tom Kitching and Gren Bartley ("A young guitarist to watch out for" Johnny Coppin)bring the energy and enthusiasm of youth and a musicality that belies their age to a rich repertoire of songs and tunes traditional and self-composed. They have quickly come to people's attention after appearing at numerous festivals in 2007, where Gren's accomplished finger-style guitar, Tom's exciting fiddling and their eclectic material and broad command of styles wowed their audiences.

We at Music Institute folk club are really excited about the number of young performers that are emerging on the folk scene - not only the quantity, but also the remarkable quality.
