I was simply making a little joke, Teribus, and in doing so invoking the image of Horatio Hornblower, one of my favorite characters of all time, in one of his more strict and sober moods. He was like that sometimes, as were many British officers. ;-) I have no objection at all to the lively antics in the video. As you say, they are rather reminiscent of skylarking in the old British Navy.
