Meanwhile, a galaxy away, on the planet of Hunkahunka, the Planet of the Elvis Impersonators, Kaalufa was relaxing in the Fat Elvis sector, in full costume and regalia. As the evening progressed, he become drunker and drunker, surrounded by his cohorts of Cygnian mercenaries all dressed like Elvis Buddies. Finally, tottering to his feet, he strode up to the karaoke microphone, and with his coif somewhat soggy, but recognizably Las Vegas revival, he said:

"Thank you, thank you very ,much. I would like to denigrate this to the loveliest lady in the cosmos, Cruella de Villeneuve, who has had it in for me, ever since I had it in her -- know what I mean???" And his Cygnians laughed uproariously, while everyone else in the room laughed self-protectively.

Kaalufa, in his white jumpsuit with the flare collar, which contrasted strangely with his maroon face like a husk of insect-ridden corn, now began to sing, in his high-pitched nasal whine:

"Wise men say, only fools rush in --"

At this point, the karaoke microphone detonated. Kaalufa and the Sands HunkaHunka hotel disappeared in a flash of exploding fire and smoke, and he passed on to wherever the cosmic Graceland of his dreams was to be found.
