AP - John Beresford Tipton, noted billionaire who was known for giving away one million dollars to people completely unknown to him, died today at his home in The Humptons. According to Michael Anthony, spokesman for the Tipton family, he "was about to change his will to pass all of his money to someone called 'Tweed' when he had a massive heart attack."

The Bland County Coroner's Office released a statement that "foul play was not suspected" and that everything possible was done to help Mr. Tipton.
