Barry Dransfield recorded 'Gossip Joan' on his excellent 'Be Your Own Man' CD on Rhiannon RHYD5003. The text he used is the one from Frank Purslow's 'Marrowbones' that Bruce mentions in his note to the song in his Scarce Songs file. It was collected from Joseph Vincent from Dorset in 1906.
