This is a true-life narrative about Ruby's love of horses set against the hardships of the agricultural depression of the 1920s and 30s. The Bumpstead boys are said to have 'mined the vein of Suffolk nostalgia' The performance comprises some button accordion music while there is a show of photographs mostly taken by Ruby at the time on her box brownie, Then stories each followed by an unaccompanied song from Andrew in his nutbrown East Suffolk voice.
